Zac Efron isn’t the only celebrity shamed or praised for his "father bod." Jason Momoa was shamed last year for holiday pictures without a visible 6-pack. And Jamie Jewitt and Antony Costa have been praised by fans for working on their "dad bods.

The dad bod is a new trend and fraternity boys everywhere appear to be rejoicing. Turns out skipping the gym for a couple brews last Thursday after class turned out to generally be in their favor.
But who arrived up with the dadbod? The phrase has been around the net for awhile, but the latest craze for that dadbod seems to have been sparked by an essay composed in March by a 19-year-previous Clemson sophomore named Mackenzie Pearson. View this photo on Instagram

Pearson: My father actually does have a pretty good dad bod. He’s a dad, certainly, and he’s in shape. But like any dude who’s in his late 40s, early 50s, he’s received that little bit of flab you just can’t eliminate.

Probably I’ll just make the Gamecock really small inside a corner and bedazzle the rest with ‘father bod’ in orange and purple.
Some college guys with the beach back home found out who I had been and invested the whole time I had been down there yelling ‘father bod’ at me.
We’re all inside our late 20s, and through some trial and mistake, it turns out that normal-ass humans are actually pretty pleasurable to hold out with. Who knew?
